Dr. Jack Nicholas

Jack did his PhD at the University of Oxford in the field of heat transfer for nuclear fusion tokamaks, and is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute. He as worked as a research fellow in the EU fusion programme and holds multiple patents in the areas of heatsink design and fabrication.

Dr. Tsun Holt Wong

Holt did his PhD at the University of Oxford in the field of gas turbine cooling​, and is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute. He has pioneered the use of pressure-sensitive paints as a means of active flow visualisation and holds a number of patents in gas turbine cooling.

Prof. Peter Ireland

Peter holds the Donald Schultz Chair in Turbomachinery at the University of Oxford and is Head of the Oxford Thermofluids Institute.  He has dedicated his career to researching the technologies used to cool systems for aircraft propulsion and power generation and now leads a broad portfolio of research programmes ranging from turbine cooling to hypersonic flow.
